Charles Curtis

President

Charles Curtis is a current sophomore from Newtown, CT majoring in Finance. On campus, he is a part of student government serving as a Haslam Senator, and this coming semester will act as VP of Development for TCMS. He previously worked for a SaaS startup called npoApp, igniteXL(Venture Capital), and is currently working at El Toro Capital Management(Private Equity).

Charles will be joining General Atlantic as a GP Funds Summer Analyst in Stamford, CT this upcoming summer.

Josh Sievers

Vice President

Josh Sievers is a current freshman from Jackson, TN majoring in Finance. On campus, he is working in the Masters Investment Learning Center, a member of the TCMS Academy, and an active member of Phi Gamma Delta. He previously worked for HP Tech Ventures (Venture Capital).

Terrence McCarthy

Treasurer

TJ McCarthy is a current sophomore from Cranford, NJ majoring in Finance. On campus, he is a part of Campus Events Board serving on the Chair of Live Events, and this coming semester will be a Pledge Ed in Alpha Kappa Psi. He previously interned for Concert Crave in New Jersey & Verto Education in London, UK.

Caroline Mcguire

VP of Internal Engagement

Caroline McGuire is a current sophomore from Nashville, TN majoring in Finance with a concentration in International Business. On campus, she serves on the Honors & Scholars Engagement Council and is a peer mentor for incoming freshmen. She also is involved in other organizations such as Women of Haslam and Zeta Tau Alpha sorority.

Elizabeth Radyn

VP of External Engagement

Elizabeth is a current sophomore from Lake George, NY majoring in Finance with a collateral in Marketing. On campus, she serves on the Social Media and Technology team for the Christian Student Center. She is also involved in other organizations on campus, such as the American Marketing Association. Elizabeth plans on studying abroad this upcoming summer.

Kevin Qian

Kevin Qian is a current Freshman from Nashville, TN majoring in Business Analytics and Finance. On campus, he is part of the Sophomore Mentoring Program, UT Investment Group, and Asian American Association. He previously was a chapter president for the Youth Entrepreneurship and Finance Association.

Susan Murphy

Teacher Sponsor

Suzan Puhl Pavlis joined the Finance Department faculty at The University of Tennessee in 1996. As Distinguished Lecturer, she teaches Financial Management (Finance 301) and is the faculty advisor for the Financial Management Association.

Professor Pavlis’ professional experience includes teaching business and mathematics and working as a Certified Management Consultant with two international public accounting firms. She holds the MBA degree from Loyola University and the BS degree from The University of New Mexico. In addition, she has completed graduate work in mathematics at The University of Tennessee.
